Set the pitman arm to full passenger lock, adjust drag link length to fit back into the knuckle, remember to tighten the 15mm clap bolt. Replace nut on drag link, tighten till snug. Straighten the wheels back to straight ahead. Check steering wheel and pitman arm placement. Torque drag link nut to spec. Seems fine, but I definitely can't wheel.

Like i said pull the cotter pin and nut. If the drag link pulls out of the tie rod without effort it was to loose. If it was actually clunking just make sure the taper of the tie rod and the seat area of the pitman are not damaged. Then bolt it all back. If you need a new drag link look for PMF or other aftermarket.

I did it to help keep the tie rod from hitting the drag link's bolt in the pittman. And it took only a few more turns of drag link length adjustment to keep the same steering center.
